Specialty Healthcare Provider. The implementation of the Affordable Care Act means that healthcare providers need new ways to demonstrate their value with new business models. For this client, we developed new strategies to address the effects of the Affordable Care Act on local marketplaces, helping the client prioritize growth opportunities and align their executive team for implementation.

Healthcare Payer. In business for nearly 30 years, this client was facing key changes in market dynamics that had the risk of adversely impacting their business model. We partnered with the CEO and COO to craft a strategy and detailed implementation plan, including cascading the strategy to each employee so they could everyone could fully help realize the company strategy - which resulted in a measurable increase in profitability.

Specialty Healthcare Provider. With the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, our client needed to better understand market dynamics and perception of them as a provider, business opportunities, key differentiators and potential threats. We developed a go-to-market strategy with market insights, prioritized target market segmentation and created an implementation plan that included quick wins to help the client realize immediate value.

Interim Leadership (Executive, Director, Manager)

Interim COO, Software as a Service (SaaS) start-up. limeade, a SaaS Health and Wellness start-up was growing quickly with processes that were not fully mature and rapidly evolving. As an interim member of the executive team, we helped limeade position themselves to rapidly scale their business. This included stronger discipline and metrics to manage processes across all business functions, from marketing and sales to after market support. We consolidated several individual initiatives into one holistic, coordinated program and got “hands-on” to assess individual business processes across the company, prioritizing and implementing improvement opportunities.

Interim CEO, National Non-Profit. During a leadership transition, Forum stepped in and partnered with the National Board of Trustees to design and implement strategic goals and objectives. We cultivated relationships with all relevant stakeholders: board, staff, volunteers, community- and corporate-partners, funders and government officials. We managed the organization’s financial resources and and oversaw the design, marketing, promotion, execution and quality of the Foundation’s programs and services. Organizational Design & Development

Healthcare Payer. With a new strategy in place, our client needed to align the organization to fully realize the benefits of the strategy. Forum helped this client define a new organization model, assess capabilities of the team, worked with the client to identify its high potential leaders and implemented the re-organization effort. We defined new decision-making methods and carefully energized the team through the change process, dispelling anxiety common to organizational shifts. The result ignited the key action nodes in the company, drove the business forward and is helping them realize company strategies.

Operations & Process Optimization

Higher Educational Institution. This client was facing inefficiencies and high cost related to its dated Human Resources technology. Moving Human Resources processes to the cloud is an opportunity to improve user experience, streamline processes and reduce IT costs. However, the widely distributed nature of HR in a multi-department educational institution is also a challenge that requires big program deployment experience and insight. Forum provided advice on program quality to executive sponsors on an enterprise-wide cloud-based Workday implementation for a large educational institution, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Program & Project Leadership

International Transportation Company. Our client was faced with a competitive market opportunity to significantly save energy and fuel costs and looked to Forum to help them integrate technology into over the road transportation. We worked quickly to help deliver a new and complex capability to market, leading the program to integrate the on-board technology with the back-end IT systems.
