Why did you choose to work at Forum?

I chose to work at Forum, after working  at larger consulting firms, because of the boutique nature of our firm. I love the fact that everyone consults and that decisions are centered based on humans first. Forum works directly with our client's decision makers and senior leadership, which is definitely not the case in larger firms. I also love that due to our size, we get to know everyone on a personal level. I continuously say this, but we all genuinely like each other. That is hard to find! This is why Forum Solutions has been named one of Washington's best employers.

Describe a project you are particularly proud of.

I was recently involved in the product development of an AI-enabled ultrasound. The AI-enabled ultrasound allows the device to interpret 9 different life-threatening maternal risks during pregnancy, such as pre-eclampsia, after only 6 swipes on a mother's belly. It literally takes 5 minutes! Can you imagine the boundless opportunities this creates in lower- to middle-income countries where access to obstetricians is extremely difficult, among many other factors. I supported multiple use cases for this product, helped our partners consolidate their commercialization, and their go-to-market plans for the device. Really fascinating work!

What are some of your favorite hobbies outside of work?

One word: Tennis.

How have you seen Forum make an impact on the greater Seattle community?

As part of Forum’s outreach and pro bono services, we encourage all consultants to serve on local boards and contribute back to the community, both individually and as a firm. I am lucky to be serving on the board of Project Access Northwest, an organization in the Pacific Northwest that provides healthcare to people who cannot afford it – it is simply remarkable!

Each year, Forum Solutions donates pro bono hours to underserved non-profits in our community. I nominated Project Access Northwest to be Forum’s pro bono charity of choice for 2024. Through this program, I have seen my colleagues make some everlasting changes and impact on the organization. I am so proud to see my two professional worlds collide, and it is the beginning of something remarkable.
