Why did you choose to work at Forum?
I chose to work at Forum because it is a woman-owned company that not only supports women but actively celebrates their successes. I was inspired by the way Forum creates opportunities for women to lead, grow, and thrive. I was also drawn to the diversity within the team; associates bring different backgrounds, fields of expertise, and educational experiences. This variety allows us to learn from one another, share perspectives, and lift each other up. It is an environment where collaboration and mutual support are not just encouraged, they are part of the culture.
What do you enjoy most about consulting?
I enjoy the variety and depth of experiences that consulting offers. Partnering with incredible companies, tackling complex challenges, and delivering projects and programs that create meaningful impact is inspiring. Each engagement has introduced me to passionate, driven professionals who are not only experts in their fields but also deeply committed to their organizations’ success. Those shared experiences have often grown into lasting friendships, making each engagement as personally rewarding as it is professionally fulfilling.
What are some of your hobbies outside of work?
Outside of work, I love gardening, and it is my favorite way to unwind and stay connected to nature. Whether I am planting flowers, herbs, or vegetables, there is something so satisfying about watching things grow and thrive, along with the wildlife they support. I am also passionate about encouraging others to bring more nature into their lives, whether that is starting a small garden, adding houseplants, or just finding moments to enjoy the outdoors.
What does being a part of a local Seattle-based consulting firm mean to you?
Being part of a local Seattle-based consulting firm means I get to see and experience the impact of our work right here in our own community. It allows me to truly understand our clients’ needs because we share the same environment, challenges, and opportunities. There is something incredibly rewarding about knowing the projects and programs we deliver have a positive effect on the place we live, work, and care about.
