Which Forum Value/s resonate most with you and why?
Forum's core value of Authenticity resonates the most with me. I see this every time I interact with other folks from Forum, whether it is on-site with the client or at a happy hour off the clock. Everyone shows up as themselves—no corporate masks, no trying to be something they are not. That makes it so easy to build real relationships, have honest conversations, and just enjoy the work more. It is a refreshing kind of culture, and something I genuinely appreciate being part of.
What industry do you primarily work in?
I specialize in change management. I love working in this area because it is a field where people are the single most important factor! It is so gratifying to help organizations successfully navigate transformative initiatives—whether that is a system launch, a new business process, or an organizational shift. No two projects are ever the same, and I enjoy the challenge of figuring out what is really going to move the needle for each team.
What are some of your hobbies outside of work?
I am part of a group that meets every Sunday to play basketball. None of us are trying out for the NBA anytime soon, but it is a great way to stay active, tap into some friendly competition, and enjoy a sense of community. We have been playing together long enough that a few father/son duos have joined in—which adds a fun dynamic (and some top-tier trash talk). It is a routine that helps me recharge before each work week.
What does being a part of a local Seattle-based consulting firm mean to you?
Being part of a Seattle-based firm means I get to do meaningful work in the community I call home. During the pandemic, my wife and I decided to relocate from Washington, D.C. back to Seattle, where I grew up. There is something special about supporting organizations that play such a big role in this region—it makes the work feel more personal, grounded, and connected to something bigger than just the project at hand.
